Central historical archives

The European Parliament maintains and makes available to the public its historical archives of material relating to its legislative and political activity from 1952 until the 4th parliamentary term (1994-1999).

Furthermore, most documents have been digitised and can be consulted at the Archive and Documentation Centre (CARDOC) in Luxembourg [see link to ‘Description of the main collections’].

All non-confidential documents can also be obtained by contacting the Archive and Documentation Centre.
