The European Parliament is now in session in Strasbourg (23 to 26 November 2009).
The final draft agenda for the part-session is available.
The minutes, the verbatim report of proceedings and the texts adopted by Parliament will be made available during the part-session.

Did you know?

...that Members of Parliament may attend meetings of committees to which they do not belong but may not take part in deliberations. However they may take part in its proceedings in an advisory capacity.

Parliament has 20 policy committees, which meet, mainly in Brussels, throughout the year. Check out the committee page to find out which committees are meeting, when and what is on the agenda. Plenary

The plenary sittings are the high point of parliament's work. This is where all the work done by the committees and political groups culminates. It is also where MEPs get to debate with other movers and shakers in the EU. The plenary sittings take place mainly in Strasbourg, the headquarters of the parliament, but some meetings also take place in Brussels.
