ECON Public Hearing "Towards a definitive VAT system and fighting VAT fraud"

The ECON Committee will hold during the same meeting from 15:00 to 16:45 a public hearing "Towards a definitive VAT system and fighting VAT fraud".
Confirmed speakers include George Karakatsanis, Head of Cabinet of Cabinet to European Court of Auditors Member Naven Mates; Martin Janeček, Director General for tax administration, Czech Republic; Gerhard Huemer, Representative of European SME organisation UEAPME; Sebastian Fiedler, Representative of Bundesverband deutscher Kriminalbeamter (German Federal Criminal Police Union); and a representative of the European Commission, DG TAXUD.
