Gender equality and Taxation policies in the EU

The invited experts shared with Members their knowledge on the effects of taxation on gender equality. The hearing served as basis for the preparation of a draft own initiative report on the same topic, on which the Committee will work later during the year. The rapporteur will be Mr Ernest Urtasun (Greens/Spain). A Policy Department study on the same topic was presented by the author during the hearing.
