The Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs organises an exchange of views on "Search and rescue activities in the Central Mediterranean" during its meeting of 12 July 2017.The aim of this event is to exchange with Italian authorities, EU agencies and different stakeholders as to the interaction between different actors participating in search and rescue operations, the fight against criminal activities and the cooperation with Libyan authorities, including training.
