This workshop was in two parts. In the first part, two international organisations, the ILO and the OECD, presented their policy strategies for the future of work.

In the second part, experts analysed selected policy fields (fighting child poverty, developing skills for changing labour markets, ensuring minimum standards at work and protecting health and safety in an era of constantly evolving technology) throughout the life course of an EU citizen with a view to achievements of and challenges for EU policies.
