A committee is permitted to organise a hearing with experts, where this is considered essential to its work on a particular subject. Hearings can also be held jointly by two or more committees. Fight against terrorism

On 30 May from 14.00 to 17.30 in room József Antall (JAN) 6Q2 the LIBE Committee organises a hearing "The current challenges of fighting terrorism and serious crime".

An overview of evolving terrorist threats and serious crime will be given by speakers in the first panel after which links between terrorism and serious and organised crime are discussed by a second panel..
