TAX3 Public hearing on "The third country dimension in the Fight against Tax crimes, Tax Evasion and Tax Avoidance"

On 26 September 2018, the TAX3 Special Committee will hold a hearing on how the EU has tackled tax evasion and avoidance in its relations with third countries, the ways to improve this policy, and a special focus on the future relations with the UK.

Invited experts will shed light on the prospects of the future EU-UK relations regarding tax and anti money laundering matters in particular and, on a broader sense, relations of the EU with third countries regarding tax and money laundering issues and how trade policy might be used as a lever.
