Auditions


Une commission peut organiser une audition dexperts lorsquelle estime que celle-ci est indispensable pour ses travaux sur une question déterminée. Les auditions peuvent aussi être conduites conjointement par deux commissions ou plus. La plupart des commissions organisent régulièrement des auditions, qui leur permettent de connaître les points de vue dexperts et de débattre sur de grands enjeux. Hearing on Freedom of religion or belief: Christians and other religious minorities in the Middle East

On Thursday 26 February the Subcommittee will hold a hearing on Freedom of Religion or Belief: Christians and other religious minorities in the Middle East. This hearing will focus on several aspects of the situation, starting from the grave abuses of fundamental human rights: persecution, torture, extra-judicial executions and forced conversion. The Milk Package and prospects for the dairy sector

AGRI 27-01-2015

In a hearing on 27 January, the AGRI Committee will evaluate the effects of the recent milk package and look at prospects for the dairy sector after the impending expiry of the quota system (15.00-18.30, room PHS 3C50). Representatives of the sector and academic experts have been invited to give their views amid fears of a looming crisis in the dairy market. EYE Hearing

The EYE Hearing was organised as an "idea check" - a special format developed for the EYE2014. In this interactive exchange, the young speakers were “idea givers” and the Members, “idea catchers”. "Ideas givers" pitched ideas to Members, who then reacted by giving a feedback on the idea. Members were invited to comment spontaneously on the ideas presented. (Lire la suite)
