Economic losses of transport companies because of strengthened border checks

The TRAN Committee held a hearing with experts on ways in which recent strengthened border checks have affected the industry. The hearing consisted of one panel with 5 experts from the following organisations: France Stratégie,Transport & Mobility Leuven, International Road Transport Union (IRU) and the European Commission. The hearing took place on Tuesday 28 February from 15:00-17:00 in Altiero Spinelli A1-G3 and was webstreamed.
