Joint Public Hearing on "Time to revisit summer time?"

JURI, ITRE and TRAN Committees are organising a public hearing on summer time arrangements. During the hearing experts will have an exchange of views with Members on the impact of summer time arrangements in transport and tourism, seasonal time-change on energy consumption and European industry. The Summer Time Directive will also be discuss. The hearing will be held on 24 March 2015, from 16:00 to 18:30, in the European Parliament in Brussels, in room P3C050 (Paul-Henri Spaak Building). The JURI, TRAN and ITRE Committees will hold a hearing on 24 March, from 16.00 to 18.30, in room PHS 03C050, entitled "Time to Revisit Summer Time". The hearing will consider recent research findings on the effects of daylight saving on different aspects of the economy, but also on health and safety.
