Domestic violence has a harmful effect on the development of children. The exposure to gender-based violence denies children their right to a safe and stable home environment. The LIBE and FEMM Committees are jointly presenting the new report of the European Institute for Gender Equality on "Gender-specific measures in anti-trafficking actions". The report includes guidance on the implementation of the anti-trafficking directive in a gender specific manner.
