Audizioni


Una commissione può organizzare un'audizione di esperti, ove ciò sia ritenuto essenziale ai fini del proprio lavoro su un determinato tema. Le audizioni possono anche essere tenute congiuntamente da due o più commissioni. La maggior parte delle commissioni organizza audizioni regolarmente in quanto consentono di consultare esperti e discutere temi fondamentali. European Youth Hearing in IMCO

Thousands of young people took part in the European Youth Event (#EYE2016) at the EP in Strasbourg last May with the aim of producing ideas for Europe’s future. Former EYE2016 participants presented some of the most impactful ideas collected and exchanged views with MEPs, with the aim of having an impact on the future agenda of the EU and make positive change. The IMCO and JURI committees held jointly a public hearing with experts and stakeholders on contractual relations and consumer remedies in the digital sphere. The first part of the joint hearing was focus on contracts for the supply of digital content. On 14 January, IMCO organised a public hearing in order to discuss with experts non-tariff barriers (NTBs) to trade in the internal market. With the participation of eight experts and of representatives of the Dutch Council Presidency and the Commission, the hearing focused on what are the remaining NTBs - both high-level and sector-specific - and how to address them.
