Next TRAN meeting
The next TRAN meeting will take place on Thursday 28 May from 09:00 a.m. to 18:30 p.m. in Brussels in P1A002 (Paul-Henri Spaak building). The meeting will be webstreamed.
Vote on Multimodal integrated ticketing in Europe
The long-term aim of the EU-wide multimodal travel information, journey planning and ticketing services is to facilitate the provision of comprehensive information about travel by air, rail, sea and road.
The own-initiative report will be put to the vote in the next TRAN meeting on 28.05.15 at 09:00.
White Paper on Transport
There will be a consideration of amendments on the implementation of the White Paper on Transport on 28.05.15 from 09:30.
The report stresses that the mid-term review of the White Paper should maintain the level of ambition of the goals set in 2011. It contains a set of actions that need to be taken to achieve those goals.
Sustainable Urban Mobility
Sustainable Urban Mobility isabout fostering a balanced development and a better integration of thedifferent transport modes. One of the main goals of the own-initiativereport is to make urban mobility more sustainable, safe and secure.
The Rapporteur will present her draft report on28.05.15 from 10:45-11:30.
Presentation of a study on Social inclusion in EU public transport
The study highlights the links between transport and social inclusion. It also provides examples of good practice in improving public transport accessibility for the most vulnerable users.
One of the authors will present the study in the next TRAN Committee meeting on 28.05.15 from 15:00-15:45.
