ECON Hearing on Virtual currencies

The ECON Committee will hold a public hearing on Virtual currencies on Monday 25 January from 15.00-16.30.
This hearing is taking place in preparation for its upcoming own-initiative (INI) report (rapporteur: Jakob von Weizsaecker, S&D/DE). Panellists will include representatives from the European Commission (DG FISMA) and the European Central Bank, academia and stakeholders from the private sector.
