Odbori so pristojni za obravnavo različnih zakonodajnih ali nezakonodajnih vprašanj, o katerih morajo pripraviti poročila. Ponavadi se odboru v obravnavo pošljejo različna vprašanja, ki zadevajo določeno področje, za katerega je zadevni odbor pristojen. V določenih okoliščinah pa lahko odbor pripravi poročilo na lastno pobudo. Za vsako poročilo se izmed članov odbora izbere poročevalec, ki je odgovoren za pripravo poročila. O osnutku poročila odbor razpravlja na sejah, kjer lahko poslanci predlagajo spremembe, če tako želijo. Na tej strani so prikazani osnutki poročil pred spremembami.
