Interparlamentarische Treffen

In the remit of the 12th EU-Philippines Inter-parliamentary Meeting (IPM), the Chair of the Delegation for relations with the countries of Southeast Asia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations ASEAN (DASE), Mr Daniel Caspary, EPP, welcomed a high level delegation from the Philippines, consisting of the President and the Vice-President of the Senate, five additional Senators, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and four more Chairs of the Committees from the House of Representatives. The IPM covered topics on global and regional security issues of mutual concern for the EU and the Philippines, including the Russian war in Ukraine, and the renewal of GSP+.
