Meeting of 12 July 2018 

Lively debate on the situation in Cameroon took place ahead the 16th regional meeting taking place on 17-19 July 2018 in Yaoundé (Cameroon).

The meeting also included an evaluation and follow-up of the 35th Session of the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly and of the meetings of the standing committees, in Brussels, 16-20 June 2018.

  • consideration of the draft agenda and work programme of the session, and
  • exchange of views on the activities of the standing committees.

The meeting also included point on legal opinions on the Joint Parliamentary Assembly's quorum and on environmental crime.

Meeting of 25 January 2018 

The meeting included an exchange of views on the political situation in Ethiopia with:
  • H.E. Teshome Toga, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia.

The meeting also included an evaluation and follow-up of the 34th Session of the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly and of the meetings of the standing committees, in Port-au-Prince (Haiti), 16-20 December 2017.

  • exchange of views with the Crisis Cell on the security situation in Haiti (in camera)
  • consideration of the draft agenda and work programme of the session, and
  • exchange of views on the activities of the standing committees.

Meeting of 6 April 2017, Strasbourg 

The election of the DACP's ninth Vice-Chair was held, following the resignation of Fernando Ruas. Following the vote by acclamation, the Chair declared Paulo Rangel the ninth Vice-Chair.

The meeting also included an evaluation and follow-up of the 32nd Session of the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly and of the meetings of the standing committees, in Nairobi (Kenya), 17-21 December 2016.

Meeting of 9 March 2017, Brussels 

The meeting included an exchange on views on the situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, with:
  • Aubin Minaku, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Members took a decision to organise a meeting with representatives of the opposition of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
