Welcome message by the Chair of the Conference of Delegations Chairs

Dear Members, partners and friends,

The EU is a world reference for its values and guiding principles and we stand united to defend a peaceful, fair, inclusive and rules-based world order.

As elected representatives, EP Members are committed to make the voice of EU citizens heard internationally, reflecting our values and strategic interests.

And it is through the work of the delegations, that we pursue dialogue with our partners from third-countries, to seek shared prosperity and peace for our citizens, particularly through the reinforcement of Democracy and respect for Human Rights.

I am fully convinced of the important role of parliamentary diplomacy to help shape and pursue the objectives of European external policies with outmost coherence and credibility.

In the pages of this section, you will find more information about what we have been doing: our mission, history and accounts of our recent meetings in Brussels and Strasbourg, as well as our external missions, our calendar of future activities and important parliamentary resolutions in this area of our work.
