The 2018 Spring Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (PA) was held on 25-28 May 2018 in Warsaw (Poland).

2017 Annual Session NATO Parliamentary Assembly, 6-9 October 2017, Bucharest

The 2017 Annual Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (PA) will be held from 6 - 9 October 2017 in Bucharest (Romania).

Speakers at the plenary session will be:

· Mr Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu, President of the Senate of Romania

2017 Spring Session NATO Parliamentary Assembly, 26-29 May 2017, Tbilisi

The 2017 Spring Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (PA) was held on 26-29 May 2017 in Tbilisi (Georgia).

Speakers at the plenary session included:

  • Mr Paolo ALLI, President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly
  • H.E. Mr Irakli KOBAKHIDZE, Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia
  • H.E. Mr Giorgi MARGVELASHVILI, President of Georgia
  • H.E. Mr Giorgi KVIRIKASHVILI, Prime Minister of Georgia
  • Hon. Rose GOTTEMOELLER, Deputy Secretary General of NATO
  • H.E. Mr Andriy PARUBIY, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine
  • Rasa JUKNEVICIENE (Lithuania), Vice President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly

At the conclusion of the session, Paolo ALLI, NATO PA President, and Andriy PARUBIY, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, issued a joint statement on "The cooperation between the NATO PA and Ukraine, and the Assembly's support for Ukraine".

2016 Annual Session NATO Parliamentary Assembly, 18-21 November 2016, Istanbul

The 2016 annual session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly was held on 18-21 November 2016 in Istanbul (Turkey).

Resolutions prepared by the committees and adopted in the plenary session covered:
  • Maintaining international support in Afghanistan
  • Forging a concerted response to terrorism at home
  • Supporting NATO'S post-Warsaw defence and deterrence posture
  • Defeating Daesh
  • Allied defence spending
  • NATO airborne intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR).
Speakers at the plenary session included:

  • Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN, President, Republic of Turkey
  • Christine MUTTONEN, President, OSCE Parliamentaty Assembly

Italıan lawmaker Paolo Allı was elected the new Presıdent of the NATO Parlıamentary Assembly for at least one year, replacing U.S. Congressman Michael R. Turner.

2016 Spring Session NATO Parliamentary Assembly, 28-30 May 2016, Tirana

The 2016 spring session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly was held on 18-21 November 2016 in Tirana (Albania).

A declaration on "A United and Resolute Agenda for NATO at the Warsaw Summit" was co-presented by Nicole Ameline (France), Chairperson of the Defence and Security Committee and Ojars Eriks Kalnins (Latvia), Chairman of the Political Committee, and adopted in the plenary.

The 2015 annual session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly was held on 9-12 October 2015 in Stavanger (Norway).

Resolutions prepared by the committees and adopted in the plenary session covered:
  • Addressing The Evolving Threat Of Terrorism
  • Countering Russia's Propaganda And Disinformation Campaigns
  • Solidarity With Ukraine
  • Maintaining Support for The Wales Summit initiatives
  • Economic Sanctions Against Russia
  • An Urgent Comprehensive and Unified Response to Crises in the Middle East And North Africa (MENA)
  • Strengthening Security and Stability Through NATO's Open Door and Partnership Policies
  • Climate Change and International Security.
