Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Kazakhstan and the EU

The "Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and its Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Kazakhstan, of the other part" was signed on 21 December 2015 and has been provisionally applied since 1 May 2016.

The European External Action Service describes the objective of the Agreement as:
"to establish an enhanced partnership and cooperation between the Parties within the limits of their respective competences, based on common interest and on the deepening of the relationship in all areas of its application."
