–  having regard to Rule 133 of its Rules of Procedure,

A.  whereas in its study, the '600 million consumers' association highlights the presence of traces of dioxins and of halogenated derivatives, glyphosate and insecticide residues in a sample of feminine hygiene products;

B.  whereas the International Agency for Research on Cancer classifies glyphosate as 'probably carcinogenic';

C.  whereas according to the World Health Organisation, dioxins can cause reproductive or developmental problems, harm the immune system, interfere with the hormone system and cause cancer;

1.  Calls for a ban on toxic substances in tampons and feminine protection products;

2.  Calls for checks by manufacturers on the raw materials used in the production of tampons and feminine protection products which they place on the market to be made compulsory;

3.  Calls for the composition of tampons and feminine protection products to appear on all labelling used for these products.
