Therese Comodini Cachia (PPE), in writing. — EU legislation must retain high standards of sustainable fishing. This will require action that does not have the potential to undermine the reproductive capacity of the stock. Sustainable fishing benefits not only the public, but also the industry itself, making it possible for those entering the fishing industry in the future to be able to make a decent living.
