  Brian Hayes (PPE), in writing. — I voted in favour of this report as I believe the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly is a unique body which can strengthen political dialogue between EU politicians and their African counterparts. This body has significant influence in defining the post-2015 development agenda and for furthering EU development goals which seek to give everyone in developing countries a decent standard of living by 2020.
