Green employment initiative (A8-0204/2015 - Jean Lambert)

  Derek Vaughan (S&D), in writing. ‒ I voted with my fellow Labour MEPs and Socialist colleagues in favour of this important report aiming to increase the employment potential of jobs in the green sector. There are 23 million people unemployed in Europe. We need to invest in quality jobs and focus on growth. The green sector offers huge potential for future job creation and we have to make sure the UK and Europe can maximise this opportunity.
