Jarosław Wałęsa (PPE), in writing. ‒ I have voted in favour of the report ‘Promoting youth entrepreneurship competences in education and training’. The struggle to increase the rate of employment within the youth society seems to be a significant issue that requires prioritization. In order to help boosting the economy of European Union, it is essential to create the sufficient conditions, which will encourage young people to enter the entrepreneurship area.

With respect to the above, I find the substance of this report very promising. It does not only emphasise the need for the constant development of entrepreneurial skills, which can be achieved by providing conditions for effective education and training, but also provides the necessary guidance on how to achieve these targets on both international as well as national level.

Moreover, focusing on the development of the entrepreneurial skills at all levels of education is absolutely crucial. This approach may help young people to become creative and responsible at the very young age, and therefore broaden their mind-sets, which is exactly what Europe needs.
