Multiannual recovery plan for bluefin tuna in the eastern Atlantic and the Mediterranean (A8-0367/2015 - Gabriel Mato)

  Marlene Mizzi (S&D), in writing. ‒ I have voted in favour of the report, which aims at transposing into Union law measures of the bluefin tuna recovery plan in the Eastern Atlantic and the Mediterranean. The aim of this report is to transpose into Union law measures of the multiannual bluefin tuna recovery plan in the Eastern Atlantic and the Mediterranean adopted by the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT) at its annual meetings between 2012 and 2014. In principle, I agree on the contents of the report, but there remain some reservations that go beyond the transposition exercise.
