  Der Präsident. – Als nächster Punkt folgt die Abstimmungsstunde.

Zunächst hat sich Herr Auštrevičius zur Geschäftsordnung gemeldet. Bitte sehr!

  Petras Auštrevičius (ALDE). – Mr President, two years ago, on 2 April 2014, this House, the European Parliament, with an absolute majority, adopted a recommendation to the Council on establishing common visa restrictions for Russian officials involved in the death of Sergei Magnitsky. In that recommendation, the Parliament addressed the Council asking, among other measures, to impose and implement an EU—wide visa ban on 32 Russian officials responsible for the death of Sergei Magnitsky and for the subsequent judicial cover—up and ongoing harassment of his mother and widow.

I would like to draw attention to the fact that yesterday an event was held here in the Parliament by one of our colleagues, a Member of the European Parliament, from a very respected political group. Two persons from the Magnitsky List were present at this event. They are Pavel Karpov and Andrey Pavlov, who were let in to make their interventions. I deplore this happening within the walls of the European Parliament. Mr President, I want to draw your attention to this problem, which is an issue of the integrity of our own decisions.

Erklärungen zur Abstimmung können schriftlich eingereicht werden.
