Therese Comodini Cachia (PPE), in writing. ‒ The current Partnership Agreement came into force in 2006 and was renewed for a period of two years in 2012, expiring at the end of 2014. The Council’s decision to conclude a protocol for a period of four years will ensure that there will be better use of quotas and is designed to strengthen mutual trust and non-discrimination for the European vessels.
