Pavel Telička (ALDE), in writing. ‒ I voted in favour of mobilising the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund to help workers who lost their jobs at the Supermarket Larissa cooperative shops in Greece to reintegrate the job market more easily. The Supermarket’s bankruptcy followed the drop of the purchasing power of Greek households and the drastic reduction of loans to companies and individuals. The fund will provide the workers with occupational guidance, training, retraining and vocational training, as well as participation, training and mobility allowances.
