MPphoto

David Casa (PPE), in writing. ‒ The aim of this proposal is to harmonise the approach to the enforcement of Customs legislation, particularly for infringements sanctions. The European Parliament and the EPP in particular sought to change significantly the initial Commission proposal in terms of its scope, category of infringements and corresponding sanctions. I voted in favour of the report.
