– Before the vote:

  Juan Fernando López Aguilar (S&D). – Señora presidenta, estamos votando los primeros de un conjunto de informes relativos a la seguridad de los europeos entre los que se incluirá, en esta sesión parlamentaria de Estrasburgo, el informe sobre el Fondo de Seguridad Interior de la Unión Europea.

Y creo que es una ocasión para recordar que ayer se cumplieron quince años de la masacre con mayor número de víctimas que recuerda la historia de la Unión Europea: la masacre terrorista que tuvo lugar en España el 11 de marzo del año 2004.

Y creo, por tanto, que es una buena ocasión para que en el acto del voto emitamos un mensaje de solidaridad infinita con las víctimas del terrorismo y de determinación en la lucha contra todas las formas de terrorismo y sus amenazas.

  Dennis de Jong, on behalf of the GUE/NGL Group. – Madam President, I just wanted to ask, in accordance with Rule 59(3) of the Rules of Procedure, to vote first on the amendments, and also I would like to ask for a roll call vote on the procedure of this decision.

  Daniel Dalton, Rapporteur. – Madam President, very briefly, we’ve negotiated this for years. We’ve got a deal. Parliament got significance concessions. If any amendment passes, the deal falls, so I would object to the proposal by the GUE/NGL and suggest that we just vote directly on the deal.
