Lynn Boylan (GUE/NGL), blue-card question. – I would like to ask if Mr Liese is really happy that he and others successfully removed the very onerous task of marking a packet of balloons – not the balloons themselves, but the packaging of the balloons – asking people to dispose of them responsibly. We know that balloons are in the top 10 list of items found, and now – thanks to Mr Liese and his colleagues – children are spared the horror of such a labelling requirement and instead will continue to witness the horror of poisoned wildlife.
