Valdis Dombrovskis, Vice-President of the Commission. – Madam President, honourable Members, thank you for all your views and for today’s debate. As has been said, though the outcome is not as ambitious as I, and surely some of you, would have hoped for, I’m still convinced that this political agreement will help us to achieve more supervisory convergence in the future. It is a crucial step on our way to a genuine capital markets union, so once again, thank you to the rapporteurs, Ms Berès and Mr Karas, and let me ask you once again to lend your support to this outcome with your vote tomorrow.
