Turkey and support for ISIS

It has been reported that Turkey has assisted ISIS in its extremist war in neighbouring Iraq (see ‘Turkish Support for ISIS’, Washington Times, 18.6.14). In light of the fact that Turkey is a candidate country, and that ISIS has repeatedly threatened European states, citizens and their interests, what action is the Commission taking to urge the Turkish authorities to cease providing this support?
