to the Commission
Rule 130
Jeppe Kofod (S&D)

It has recently been revealed that Disney has received some GBP 250 million in state aid. In the light of that, and having regard to various schemes for the support of the production of films which cannot be described as expressions of British culture, could the Commission answer the following questions?

1. Does the Commission intend to investigate rules and practices allowing the granting of aid, in the form of direct support, tax deductions and tax exemptions, in connection with Member States' film support schemes, including that of the United Kingdom?

2. Has the Commission conducted any such investigations in the past?
