Incidents sometimes occur when migrants reach the EU's external borders or are picked up at sea.

1. How many complaints did people working for or together with the European Border and Coast Guard Agency lodge against migrants in 2016 and during the first five months of 2017?

2. In each of these two periods, how many of the complaints resulted in prosecutions?
