1. In relation to stray dogs, no EU harmonised legislation is in place and the matter thus falls under the sole responsibility of the Member States. The Commission has hence no legal power to intervene on this matter.

2. No EU funds targeted towards the issue of stray dogs have been granted to Romania or to other Member States.
