Subject:  EU-authorised establishments based in Western Sahara
 Answer in writing

In December 2017, the Commission added six establishments based in the occupied territory of Western Sahara to the lists of authorised importers of products of animal origin from Morocco. Five companies (DAMSA ENTREPOSAGE, SOTRAGEL CONGELATION, ASPAM SARL, OCEAMIC BOJOUR and FRIGODAK) were included on the list concerning fishery products(1), which entered into force on 1 January 2018, and one (ATLANTIC TANK TERMINAL) on the list entitled ‘other facility for the collection or handling of animal by-products’(2), which entered into force on 28 December 2017.

Are these companies entitled to enjoy the preferential tariffs established under the EU-Morocco Association Agreement for the products of animal origin that they export to the EU?
