There are seventeen desalination plants along the Mediterranean coast which are used to less than a fifth of their potential capacity. All of these desalination plants have been financed with European funds.

Does the Commission believe that, at a time of severe drought, the Government of Spain is making proper use of the EU funded desalination plants, some of which are running at 30% of their capacity?
