The Commission is closely monitoring the Administrative Assistance and Cooperation System, the IT tool developed by the Commission to allow Member States to exchange data related to certain non-compliances with food and feed legislation in a structured manner[1]. Should a sudden increase in the number of cases concerning the quality of ham be noticed, the Commission will take the appropriate measures by involving the relevant competent authorities and stakeholders.
