Question for written answer E-003373-18
to the Commission
Rule 130
Deirdre Clune (PPE)

Subject:  Investigation into access to Irish car insurance market in Ireland
 Answer in writing

The Commission is investigating allegations that Insurance Ireland has withheld membership from underwriters entering the market. The basis for the inspection was concern over anti-competitive practices.

Can the Commission outline what progress has been made and a likely date for completion of the investigation?
