E-003948-18
Question for written answer E-003948-18
to the Commission
Rule 130
Mary Honeyball (S&D)

 Subject:  Digital transformation in healthcare
 Answer in writing
The Commission plans to complete the Digital Single Market, i.e. in the area of health policy. To this end, three priorities have been defined:
1. Citizens’ secure access to their health data, including across borders;
2. Personalised medicine through shared European data infrastructure;
3. Citizen empowerment with digital tools for user feedback and person-centred care.

In this respect, what progress has the Commission hitherto made in the area of telemedicine?
