E-004391/2018(ASW)
Answer given by Ms Gabriel on behalf of the European Commission
Question reference: E-004391/2018

Further to the Commission's previously given answer, the Commission has not observed a general increase in domestic mobile prices in the EU. Roam-like-at-home is widely available in the EU/European Economic Area and domestic-only mobile offers remain limited. The Commission intends to present its observations on the effects of abolishing retail roaming surcharges in an interim report to be submitted to the European Parliament and the Council by 15 December 2018, as requested in the Roaming Regulation.
