E-004847-18
Question for written answer E-004847-18
to the Commission
Rule 130
Nadine Morano (PPE)

 Subject:  Support for Greece
 Answer in writing

The stability programme for Greece implemented over the past three years has just come to an end. The programme was a demonstration of the EU Member States’ solidarity with Greece in addressing a severe financial and budgetary crisis. It also demonstrated the courage and resilience of the Greek people, who made many sacrifices in the interests of recovering budgetary independence and stability.

Can the Commission provide an assessment of the Greek stability programme, setting out its main achievements?

What measures is the Commission planning in terms of continued support for Greece as it emerges from the programme, so as to avoid any recurrence of such a crisis?
