E-004878/2018(ASW)
Answer given by Ms Gabriel on behalf of the European Commission
Question reference: E-004878/2018

The proposed Regulation adopted by the Commission on 12 September 2018(1) foresees that the Network of National Coordination Centres and the European Cybersecurity Industrial, Technology and Research Competence Centre would support industry, research and innovation by using the cybersecurity-related budgets from two future EU programmes (the Digital Europe Programme and the Horizon Europe Programme). Furthermore, Member States should contribute financially on a voluntary basis to the administrative and operational costs of the Competence Centre and to actions promoted by it.
