 Subject:  Frontex operations in Spain
 Answer in writing 

Frontex, in cooperation with Spanish agents, is carrying out three operations at Spain’s borders: the Hera, Indalo and Minerva operations; in the western Mediterranean, the Strait of Gibraltar, and in the waters between the Canary Islands and the West African coast.

1. Can the Commission provide a breakdown of the annual budget for each operation?

2. Can the Commission give details of its cooperation with the Moroccan, Mauritian and Senegalese authorities in the context of these operations, such as the type of information and data shared?

3. Does the Commission have any information on the number of people who have been apprehended during these operations, as well as these people’s ages and nationalities?
