E-001504-19
Question for written answer E-001504-19
to the Commission
Rule 130
Ricardo Serrão Santos (S&D)

Subject:  The Philippines as a GSP+ beneficiary
 Answer in writing

On 31 July 2018, Ms Malmström, on behalf of the European Commission, replied to a previous question of mine (E-002785-18) regarding the Philippines and its status as a GSP+ beneficiary country. In it she stated that ‘a GSP+ monitoring mission to the Philippines will take place in autumn 2018’.

What was the outcome of this mission to the Philippines?

If any deficiencies or other shortcomings were detected, what measures has the Commission implemented or does it intend to implement in order to remedy them?
