 Subject:  Improving island connectivity
 Answer in writing

In its communication ‘A European Strategy for more Growth and Jobs in Coastal and Maritime Tourism’, the Commission stated that it would order a study on how to improve island connectivity and that it would come up with innovative strategies to improve island tourism.

What progress has been made on the matter?

What policies is the Commission implementing in order to help those Member States that are islands, or whose territory includes islands, so as to improve their connectivity?

Has it been consulted regarding any potential ongoing studies on the connectivity of Gozo?
