Question for written answer E-002078-19
to the Commission
Rule 130
Paul Rübig (PPE)

Subject:  ERASMUS+ and European Solidarity Corps applications

According to a study I commissioned, the process of finding information about ERASMUS + and the European Solidarity Corps and submitting applications to them using their tools and web pages is very confusing and complicated. Forms are often incorrect and the information asked for is at times inappropriate. Furthermore, the response from the European bodies concerned is often slow and inflexible.

1. What does the Commission intend to do to address these shortcomings?

2. Are there any plans by the Commission to simplify administrative procedures and support regional/national agencies?
